Abbey and Esk Bed and Breakfast is a grand Victorian building towering over the River Esk in Whitby. Located in a quiet residential area, this proud building has been the home of many sea captains over the centuries. Today, you can enjoy a comfortable stay and a warm welcome from friendly owner Ruth.

There are 2 double guest bedrooms with en suite facilities and a twin room with a private bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi bath. There is also a guest lounge where you can relax and unwind. A delicious full English breakfast is included in our room rates or you can enjoy some famous Fortune’s Kippers from Whitby. We can also cater for vegetarians.

There is Wifi throughout the B & B and 2 free car parking spaces. The town centre is only a 5-minute walk away where you can find the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Whitby Abbey, various galleries or take a boat trip from the harbour. There are plenty of seafood restaurants, bistros, pubs, cafes and shops to explore.
