The Poplars

The Poplars near Thirsk is a friendly bed and breakfast with self-catering holiday cottages. Located in the village of Carlton Miniott, there is car parking and we are only a short walk from the railway station. Carlton Miniott is situated to the west of Thirsk on the A61 main road to Ripon. To the east are the North York Moors and the North Yorkshire coast and to the west are the Yorkshire Dales.

Our holiday cottages include sensitively refurbished stone barns and well-equipped Scandinavian-style timber lodges. All cater for 2 to 6 guests, are dog-friendly and have a beautiful shared garden. We provide bed linen and towels. There is secure bike storage and Wifi available in the main house.
