The Almar

The Almar Guest House provides a home-from-home place to stay in Scarborough, located in the popular Columbus Ravine area and convenient for the North Bay attractions as Peasholm Park, the beaches and the Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Ideally placed to enjoy all the attractions and amenities in the town, owners Julie and John ensure you have everything you need for a relaxing stay.

There are 5 guest rooms, all recently refurbished with stylish decor. All are equipped with en suite facilities, toiletries, Freeview TV, hairdryer and well stocked hospitality trays. We have double and twin rooms but can also offer accommodation for families or reduced rates for single occupants. Our bar is well-stocked with a range of beverages or you can pick something new from our cocktail menu! Complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate are also available throughout the day.

We will ensure you have a great start to your day by cooking a delicious full English breakfast, using the best of locally-sourced ingredients. We can also offer Scottish smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or our special bacon and brie croissants. Delicious!
