19 Burgate

19 Burgate is a traditional Georgian cottage which has been sensitively renovated to offer all the contemporary comforts of a modern self-catering holiday home. Centrally located in the historic market town of Pickering, there is on-street parking and there are shops and places to eat within easy walking distance.

The cottage retains attractive original features such as low ceilings, stone walls and sash windows. The lounge is equipped with sofas, a TV, Blu-ray Player and iPod dock. There is also a modern kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer, as well as a dining room; bathroom, shower room, king-sized bedroom and an additional double bedroom. Wifi is available. Outside, there is a private garden with dining area and summer house.

Pickering is a bustling place with plenty to see and do, including the motte and bailey castle. This charming town is well known as the southern terminus of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and as a 'Gateway to the Moors'. The nearby towns of Scarborough, Whitby, Helmsley and Malton also provide interesting days out!
