The Smithton Hotel

The hotel is close to the historic Culloden Battlefield, site of the final Jacobite Rising in 1746, the last battle fought on the British mainland. Culloden Visitor Centre, which stands beside the battlefield, features artefacts from both sides of the battle and interactive displays that reveal the background to the conflict.
