The surrounding area is filled with natural beauty and an abundance of wildlife, with opportunities for various outdoor pursuits. Balnain is approximately 5 miles from Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness and 17 miles from Inverness. A regular bus service operates to and from Inverness and surrounding villages. A choice of amenities are available in Drumnadrochit including restaurants and shops.
