Sun Inn

The Sun Inn is a warm and welcoming 300-year-old pub at the top of the main cobbled street in the village of Dent in the Yorkshire Dales. Visitors will find friendly staff, a well-stocked bar, traditional tasty pub grub, as well as bed and breakfast accommodation.

There are 4 guest rooms, looking across to St Andrews Church. All rooms offer a mix of traditional furnishings with modern facilities for a comfortable stay. There are double rooms, twin rooms and family rooms available. All have Wifi, refreshments and some have en suite facilities. A delicious cooked breakfast is included.

Try some of our local ales and excellent classic pub food. Dishes include giant Cumberland sausages, rump steak, battered cod, steak and ale pie, whole-tail scampi and many more. We have lighter bites, vegetarian options and a children’s menu. You can also try a selection of local ales in the bar.
