A beautifully restored barn on a former farmstead, the cottage has original stone walls and vaulted ceilings adding to its rustic charm. The main living area is situated on the first floor to make the most of the stunning countryside views. There is a wood burning stove, 2 sofas, TV, DVD player, iPod dock, games console and dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washing machine. There is a door that leads to a terrace with seating and down to the south-facing terrace. The 2 bedrooms which can sleep 4 are located in the ground floor. The whole garden and driveway is enclosed providing a safe area for children or dogs to play in.

There is a pub nearby with Gosforth 3 miles away offering shops and places to eat. The walking and climbing in the area is for all levels of skill. Just a few minutes away from Santon Bridge you can take a scenic train journey on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. Visit a working corn mill at Muncaster or visit Muncaster Castle, a 13th Century ancestral home with gardens, garden centre, owl sanctuary and adventure playground.
