Talbot House & Studio

Talbot House and Studio is a traditional Lakeland stone cottage offering self-catering accommodation in the village of Helton. With scenic views across the Lowther Valley and Knipe Spar, this cottage offers a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The house and the studio can be booked separately or together for larger groups. Pets are welcome.

Talbot House sleeps 5 with large lounge featuring the old exposed beams and open fire. There is a double, a twin and a room with a cabin bed. The Studio provides a cosy place to stay for 2 guests, with a spiral staircase leading to the lounge and bedroom with beautiful river views. Both cottages have Wifi, well equipped kitchens with dishwasher and use of the shared terrace and garden. There is car parking and lockable storage for bikes, boats and equipment.

Askham is just a mile away with local shops, pubs, a Michelin star restaurant and a heated outdoor swimming pool. Penrith is just over 6 miles from the cottages.
