Eden Valley Breaks

Eden Valley Breaks comprises six cosy self-catering cottages in a beautiful, peaceful valley one and a half miles north of Kirkoswald. Guests enjoy exclusive access to fishing lakes, gardens and walks. Every cottage is pet-friendly and there’s a securely fenced field for dogs to enjoy.

Four of the cottages, collectively known as Fishermen’s Walk, open onto the main fishing lake and provide cosy accommodation for two people. The larger cottages, the Barley Mow and the Steading can each sleep four or five people and originally formed part of the sandstone farmhouse. All cottages have a smart TV, super-fast internet with fresh towels and bedding provided.

Nearby, there are stunning walks, stone circles, magical caves, the beautiful River Eden, a heritage railway, Hadrian’s Wall and the Lake District. Kirkoswald has a village shop, two pubs and an active and welcoming community, including a beer festival and cricket club. We are close to the Coast to Coast path and Pennine Way and transport can be arranged if you want a comfy night’s rest. Penrith is a lovely town packed with independent shops, great local restaurants and traditional pubs.
