The Sally Inn

A warm welcome awaits guests at the Salutation Inn, or ‘Sally Inn’ as it is known locally. A former coaching inn dating back to the 17th century in the village of Threlkeld, we provide comfortable guest rooms and a friendly pub for travellers and holiday makers. Family-friendly, we also welcome dogs too.

Our guest rooms are quiet and decorated to a high standard, with en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, free Wifi, Freeview TV and a refreshment tray. There are double, twin, king size rooms and a family room available. If you prefer self-catering, then Sally Cottage next door offers well-appointed accommodation for 4 people, with 2 en suite bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.

Our bar is a great place to relax and enjoy some banter, with a selection of real ales from Cumbria and around the world plus wines, spirits and soft drinks to suit all tastes. You can either sit inside with darts, pool table and our TVs showing the latest sporting event or outside in our beer garden. For excellent food, visit our sister pub The Horse and Farrier just down the road, where you will be equally welcome.
