Dalegarth House

Welcome to Dalegarth House, a friendly guest house in the village of Portinscale, near Keswick. With panoramic views across Borrowdale and the scenic Lake District countryside, we are also within walking distance to beautiful Derwent Water.

There are 10 well-appointed bedrooms, equipped with en suite facilities, central heating, Wifi, TV and a hospitality tray. There are single, double, twin and king size rooms available, with many having beautiful views. Our award winning breakfast is included in the room rates. Choose from a full English, Vegetarian or our Special of the Morning.

There is car parking and you can enjoy the many walks around the lake, through ancient woodland or along the crags and fells. You can walk or take the river taxi to Keswick where you will find plenty of shops and places to eat. Enjoy the public parks, swimming pools and gardens of this popular market town or visit the famous Theatre by the Lake.
