Mirefoot offers superb self-catering holiday cottages nestled in between Kendal and Windermere. This accommodation is surrounded by the scenic countryside of the Lake District and boasts excellent on-site facilities, including a swimming pool. Mirefoot has a Visit England 5-Star Gold Award rating.

Our 5 cottages sleep from 2 to 4 guests and have been given a stylish and contemporary look, incorporating some beautiful original architectural features. We have added amenities such as free Wifi, Bluetooth Surround Sound, widescreen TVs, wood burners and contemporary kitchens and bathrooms. Each cottage also has its own private patio and barbeque. A welcome pack of refreshments and a bottle of wine will help you settle in.

Guests can use the indoor swimming pool, gym and spa, or explore our 3 acres of gardens with pond and arboretum. There is golf, fishing and beautiful walks nearby and we can arrange for private dining in your own cottage for special occasions! Windermere is less than a 15-minute drive and Kendal is 10 minutes’ away.
