With scenic views across the lake and across the Yewdale Valley, it offers a peaceful and relaxing location. There is a private parking for 2 cars.

The cottage has all the facilities for a comfortable self-catering holiday for 4 guests. The interior has been decorated to a high standard and incorporates the original features. The front room has leather sofas, Smart TV with Netflix, DVD and log burning stove with the old Lakeland stone walls adding to its charm. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and dining area. There is a king sized bedroom and a twin bedroom.

The local village pub is just down the lane serving real ales and good food. There are also cafes and restaurants in the village. You can enjoy activities on the lake including kayaking, windsurfing and boating. The Old Man of Coniston is the highest peak in the Furness Fells and one of the most popular destinations for fellwalking in the Lake District. It is one of Wainwright’s Southern Fells.
