Ferry View Cottage is a beautiful Lakeland Stone cottage offering self-catering holiday accommodation in the village of Bowness-on-Windermere nestled in a semi-rural location, just 10 minutes walk from the shops, cafes and restaurants in the village.

Open all year round, our cottage offers a homely place to stay for 4 guests, with a sitting room equipped with log effect gas stove in a stone fireplace, comfortable armchairs, TV, free Wifi and dining table. There is a country style kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and integrated oven; a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with a TV.

Bowness Bay is a short walk away which offers wonderful views across Lake Windermere. You can also take a steamer boat across the lake and walk some or all of the Windermere Way, a 45-mile path that takes you around the whole of the lake. The World of Beatrix Potter attraction in Bowness is very popular with children.
