Rookery Cottages

Rookery Cottages offer the perfect place for a holiday in the popular Lake District town of Ambleside. These 2 self-catering cottages are nested in a private location, yet still convenient for the shops and amenities in the town centre. The cottages can be booked together for larger groups and dogs are welcome.

Both cottages can accommodate up to 5 guests and have gas central heating, modern spacious kitchens with a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer; as well as a TV and Wifi. There are 3 bedrooms with a balcony from the master bedroom which overlooks Stock Ghyll River. Outside, there is parking on the front courtyard, plus outdoor seating, a barbeque and direct access to the riverbank at the back. There is also secure storage for bicycles and equipment.

Ambleside is one of the most popular towns in the Lake District and there are a wide range of activities and attractions around the town. A walk along the river takes you to the scenic Stock Ghyll Force waterfalls. At the north end of Windermere, England’s largest lake, Ambleside is an ideal place to start many fell walks.
