The Waterwheel Inn

Welcome to The Waterwheel Inn and Restaurant near St Austell. This attractive, historical building dates back to the 1700s as a ‘blowing house’ for the tin industry and is surrounded by over an acre of woodland, with landscaped gardens. The town centre is just a 10 to 15-minute walk away.

Our guest rooms have individual styling and furnishings. Choose from king-sized, twin or triple and rooms with garden views. We also have a room adapted for guests with disabilities. Each is equipped with en suite facilities, Freeview TV and beverage tray. Dogs are welcome. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children under the age of 13.

Breakfast is included in our room rates which is served in our conservatory overlooking the White River. You can also enjoy one of our dishes in our elegant restaurant throughout the day. Our chef only uses the finest, locally-sourced ingredients. The Waterwheel can also cater for private dining, wedding receptions and family occasions.
