Old House

The Old House at Little Pinnock is a traditional stone cottage offering charming self-catering accommodation near Fowey in southern Cornwall. Refurbished to a high standard with some original features still remaining, the house offers a luxurious place to stay with gardens on 3 sides leading down to a small stream, providing an idyllic setting.

The Old House is an upside-down cottage with the living areas on the first floor to make the most of the views. The lounge area features high vaulted ceilings, a granite stone fireplace with a log burning stove, TV and a ladder leading to the twin bedroom in the gallery. At the other end of the room is a dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There is a wooden spiral staircase which leads to the ground floor with a large bathroom containing a roll top bath, wet room with a 300-year-old wooden archway and 3 bedrooms. Outside there is a picnic bench, barbeque, beautiful gardens and car parking.

Fowey is just 2 miles away with traditional shops, pubs and restaurants. The town is popular for a range of water sports on its estuary. St Catherine’s Castle was built to defend the harbour entrance and accessible on foot from Readymoney Cove. There are frequent passenger ferries to Polruan and a a car ferry crosses the river to Boddinick.
