Penrose Burden

Penrose Burden Cottages are a variety of traditional cottages offering self-catering accommodation in the village of St Breward, with panoramic views along the Camel Valley. Benefitting from a recent refurbishment, these stone cottages have been fitted with all the latest amenities whilst retaining their original rustic charm.

Each cottage is on ground floor level with vaulted ceilings, stone floors and exposed wooden beams. There are cosy cottages for 2 and family friendly cottages for 4. Each is equipped with wood burning stoves, Smart TVs, Wifi, USB charging points, dishwashers and a private garden area. There is plenty of car parking with electric car charging points and secure bicycle storage. Dogs are welcome in designated cottages.

The cottages are close to Bodmin Moor for cycling, walking and the stunning scenery featured on the BBC TV programme ‘Poldark’. The Camel Trail runs close by, with bike hire available locally. Take the steam train from Bodmin to Wenford or visit the many surfing and swimming beaches a short drive away.
