The George Inn

A warm welcome awaits guests at The George Inn in the picturesque village of Croscombe, 4 miles from Wells and close to The Mendip Hills. This 17th century inn offers a well-stocked bar with local drinks, delicious food, comfortable guest rooms and an inclusive breakfast. The George has disabled facilities and is dog-friendly.

There are 4 guest rooms, all with en suite facilities, TV, free Wifi and refreshment tray. A full English breakfast or lighter bites, such as a bacon sandwich, are available in the morning. You can enjoy excellent food in our restaurant throughout the day. There is a wide variety of dishes including British classics, fresh seafood and vegetarian options. We can also cater for other special diets.

The George has been a Winner of the CAMRA Pub of the Year 3 times! Our bar and garden are great places to to relax, with a drink from the well-stocked bar which includes a range real ales and local ciders. There is also regular live entertainment and theme nights.
