Hurstone House

Hurstone House is a charming country house offering self-catering accommodation for large groups: It is set a beautiful location on the fringe of Exmoor near the village of Waterrow. Originally a 14th century farmhouse, Hurstone has been sympathetically restored over many years to provide 14 (+2) guests the pleasure of experiencing the stunning views from characterful and spacious rooms. It is ideal for family reunions, group holidays and peaceful rural retreats . Pets are also welcome.

Inside there are 2 sitting rooms, a large dining room with wood burners, a games room with snooker table, fully equipped kitchen, 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms plus a ground floor shower room. Wifi, Sky TV, 2 cots and 2 high chairs are available. The optional annexe room has a king size bed and en suite wet room should you require an 8th bedroom (additional cost). Outside there is a patio area with tables, a large hot tub, lawns, a BBQ and plenty of car parking.

You can arrange for supermarkets and/or local suppliers to deliver your food order direct to Hurstone. Should you prefer not to cook or wish to arrange a special meal we are happy to recommend local/external caterers. There is a gastro pub within easy walking distance.
