Ball Cottage

Ball Cottage is an English country cottage in the pretty village of Winsford. Dating back to the 17th century and offering a charming self-catering holiday home adjacent to the River Exe, it provides a relaxing retreat in the Somerset countryside and Exmoor National Park.

The cottage has a cosy sitting room with open fire, sofa, Wifi and a TV. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, washer dryer and dining table. There is a double bedroom downstairs and a double and twin room upstairs. The beautiful garden has a lawned area, trees and direct access to the river. Here the children can play whilst you sit and enjoy a chilled drink or a book. There is car parking for 2 cars directly opposite the cottage.

There is a 12th century inn in the village which serves fine food and local ales. You will also find tennis courts, a post office and tea rooms. The historic town of Dunster is 6 miles away where you can enjoy sub-tropical gardens, a watermill, many shops and places to eat.
