The Castleton

The Castleton is an AA accredited 4-Star bed and breakfast located in the Dorset seaside town of Swanage. We are in the perfect location, just 100 metres from the blue flagged beach and just a short level walk to the town centre and amenities. We have a small private car park for guest use. There are 10 elegant and spacious rooms at The Castleton, single, double, superior and family suites all of which boast en-suite facilities. Guest rooms are resourced with TV and DVD player, free wireless broadband, tea and coffee-making facilities, alarm clock and hairdryer. We can supply bath robes and slippers. For special occasions, we can also provide champagne, chocolates and flowers or even a luxury picnic hamper. Our breakfasts, served in our conservatory dining room, are home-cooked every morning and we use locally-sourced produce. In the evening, relax and unwind in our comfortable guest lounge with sea views.

There are plenty of excellent days out in and around Swanage, including the Museum and Heritage Centre. Nearby, are Old Harry Rocks and Ballard Down, and Studland Bay and Poole Harbour are to the north. Durlston Country Park, Corfe Castle, Studland Beach and Nature Reserve and Shell Bay are all popular, not to mention the famous south-west coastal path!
