Lodge House Bed & Breakfast

Welcome to Lodge House Bed and Breakfast in the pretty village of Buckland St Mary. This mid-18th century house is 750 above sea level in Somerset’s Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with a commanding view of the surrounding scenery.

Lodge House has 2 guest rooms, both decorated to high standard with comfortable mattresses for a good night’s sleep. The Lilac Room is a twin room and The Blue Room is king-sized. Both have their own shower rooms with organic toiletries. You will also find a Smart TV, Wifi, hairdryer, alarm clock and hospitality tray in both bedrooms. A delicious full English or vegetarian breakfast will be prepared for you in the morning with homemade bread, preserves and honey from our own bees. A delicious afternoon tea is available by arrangement.

There is a gastro pub within walking distance of the house and various eateries in the nearby villages. Chard is 6 miles away where you can find shops and places to eat. Owners Neil and Kathy will are happy to share their local knowledge on the best places to visit and things to do.
