The Alders Bed & Breakfast

Nestled in a hidden location in the Dorset village of Sandford Orcas is the welcoming Alders Bed and Breakfast. This beautiful stone country cottage is surrounded by gardens and open countryside. Run by owners John and Sue with a 4-Star AA rating, guests can enjoy watercolour paintings displayed around the cottage or John’s beautiful hand-made pottery. The village has a welcoming pub, a Tudor manor house and easy access to many countryside walks.

Alders has 3 well-appointed guest rooms, all equipped with en suite facilities, TV, radio alarm clocks, hairdryer and a beverage tray with bottled water. We have a room with a queen-sized double bed, a twin room and a standard double room. Guests can also relax in our comfortable guest lounge with its inglenook fireplace. A delicious full English breakfast is included in room rates and served in our pleasant breakfast room. We also serve home-made bread and preserves.
