Greenwood Grange

Greenwood Grange is an upscale holiday village offering luxurious self-catering holiday homes in a rural location near Dorchester. On a 19th century farm that was originally built by Thomas Hardy’s father, today you can enjoy elegant accommodation and excellent facilities surrounded by the Dorset countryside.

We have 17 stone-built cottages assessed as 4 or 5-Star by Visit England. All are named after people and places in Hardy’s novels and come equipped with Freeview TV, a DVD, contemporary kitchens and a private garden. We have cosy cottages for couples, family-sized cottages, dog friendly cottages and we have cottages with hot tubs. Henchard is a thatched cottage can accommodate up to 12 with stunning open plan sitting and dining area with an exposed beamed ceiling.

Take a dip in our indoor heated swimming pool, enjoy the sauna, play a game of tennis and children can take part in the various activities offered in the games room. There is also an exercise field for dogs, a vegetable garden and you can help yourself to any eggs left by our chickens.
