Spring Cottage

Spring Cottage is a beautiful stone cottage built of mellow gritstone and offering holiday accommodation in the small rural village of Hollinsclough in the heart of the Peak District. Renovated from a former cowshed, today you can enjoy excellent self-catering facilities surrounded by 5 acres of pastureland in the picturesque Dove Valley.

The lounge provides a cosy setting with beamed ceilings, flagstone floor and stone fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also comfortable sofas, a TV, DVD player and patio doors to the courtyard area. The modern kitchen has a washer dryer and dining table with 6 chairs. The bathroom has a cast iron bath with shower and there are 2 light and airy bedrooms. Outside, there are 3 garden areas so you can follow the sun round. There is an herb garden, barbeque and a small stream.

The cottage is surrounded by walking and cycling ways, with the trek up to Chrome Hill providing magnificent views. The nearby village of Longnor has pubs, a village store and tea rooms. We are also within driving distance of many popular attractions including Alton Towers, Poole’s Cavern in Buxton, Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath and the Chatsworth Estate.
