Hargate Hall

Welcome to Hargate Hall, a grand Victorian house offering self-catering apartments near the Roman town of Buxton. Built in 1899 as a gentlemen’s residence, the house has converted into 12 stylish apartments and is a favourite venue for weddings, holidays and special events, surrounded by 7 acres of parkland.

All our apartments have their own character and decor. We have 1, 2 and 3 bedroomed apartments which can be booked separately or together for larger gatherings. Each has original features such as beautiful fireplaces and wood panelling, as well as many contemporary amenities including televisions and fully-equipped modern kitchens.

There is a communal lounge inside the house and outside there is a lawn for playing croquet, football or cricket. There is also a children’s playground and car parking.
