Stour Lodge

Stour Lodge, situated in the beautiful town of Christchurch in Dorset, is a smaller, more exclusive guest house, run by proprietors Janet and Vincent Banks. Just 10 minutes walk from the town centre and close to the railway station, you will be ideally located for your short break or holiday. We offer first-class accommodation and a guest service with that extra special attention-to-detail. There is free parking available at the front of the house.

There are 4 guest rooms with en-suite facilities; all beautifully furnished and immaculately presented. Spoonbill is a luxurious double room with bay window and seating area; Sanderling and Skylark overlook the gardens and have a king-size double bed; and Egret is a cosy single room. Rooms boast a TV, complimentary Wifi connectivity, a hospitality tray for making hot drinks, hairdryer and alarm clock. We provide a first-class breakfast, starting with cereal, fruit juice, fresh fruit salad and yoghurts, then followed by an excellent Full English (or special dietary meal). Hot breakfast sandwiches can be provided for early getaways.

Christchurch has everything you need for an amazing holiday; award-winning beaches, pretty harbour and quay, nature reserves, a rich history with the Priory Church and castle ruins, and an outdoor splash park. This is coupled with great shops and markets and a busy town calendar, so there is always plenty to see and do! Bournemouth, Poole, the Isle of Wight and the New Forest are only a short distance away.
