Eggesford Barton House

Welcome to Eggesford Barton House, a 300-year-old former farmhouse offering self-catering accommodation for up to 28 guests. This Grade II listed property is surrounded by beautiful gardens on the Earl’s of Portsmouth estate and is ideally suited for family reunions, group holidays or celebrations. Dogs are also welcome.

The house has its original Georgian architecture with oak beams, arched windows and uneven floors. There is free Wifi, central heating, TVs and DVD players. You will find 3 lounges, kitchen, a games room and 13 bedrooms, some of which have en suite facilities. Outside there is a garden, woodland area and you can go fishing on the river. Caterers can be arranged if required.

The house is located on the Tarka Trail for cyclists and walkers and you can go mountain biking in the Eggesford Forest. There are also clay pigeon shooting, archery and health workshops available. South Molton has local shops, restaurants and a museum and we are only an hour away from the beautiful North Devon Coast.
