Speccott Barton Cottages

Speccott Barton Cottages are 6 traditional stone cottages offering self-catering accommodation on a family-run farm near Little Torrington. Surrounded by the Devonshire countryside and close to the Tarka Trail, we are a popular choice for holidaymakers, walkers and cyclists. There are a variety of onsite facilities for guests.

All our cottages have been sensitively converted from former farm buildings and sleep from 2 to up to 14 guests in our largest, Granary Cottage. With the original architecture still retained, we have also added amenities such as TVs, DVD players and well equipped kitchens. Some of our larger properties have dishwashers and range cookers. There is a communal laundry room.

Guests can use our heated indoor swimming pool, tennis court and games room. You are also welcome to wander in our grounds and meet our resident animals. We are close to the National Trust’s Rosemoor Gardens, the Big Sheep and Milky Way Adventure Parks and the many stunning beaches along the coast.
