Stowford Lodge Self Catering Cottages

Stowford Lodge Self-Catering Holiday Cottages have 4 superb cottages and a log cabin for holiday lets in a rural setting outside Great Torrington. Situated in 6 acres of parkland and orchards, the traffic-free Tarka Trail passes close by, so we are ideally placed for cyclists following the journey of Tarka the Otter in the classic tale written by Henry Williamson.

We have Warren Cottage for 6 guests and Halcyon, Tarquol and the Old Nog for 4, which are all converted Victorian barns. Our purpose-built wooden log cabin can sleep up to 5 people and has a veranda out the front. All our properties have free Wifi, TV, DVD and fully equipped kitchens with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

All guests are welcome to use our indoor heated swimming pool, games field and there is a children’s play area. Dogs are welcome at the accommodation. You can find many traditional shops, cafes and pubs in Great Torrington. We are also close to the Royal Gardens at Rosemoor and the many beautiful beaches along the North Devonshire coast.
