Avondale House

A warm Scottish welcome awaits guests visiting Avondale House, a friendly bed and breakfast in the picturesque village of Kingussie. This grand Edwardian villa in the Cairngorms National Park is surrounded by excellent walking, cycling and sightseeing opportunities. There is car parking and we are also close to the railway station.

We have 6 lovely guest bedrooms; a twin, double, king-sized, triple and an elegant 4-poster room with Victorian claw bath. Some rooms have en suite facilities, and others a private bathroom. All rooms have a hairdryer, radio alarm clock, TV, Wifi and well-stocked beverage tray. Breakfast includes a choice of a full cooked Scottish breakfast, vegetarian option or Eggs Neptune. We can also provide packed lunches if required.

We are only a short walk to the restaurants, local shops and pubs in the village. As well as walking and cycling, there is golf, fishing, pony trekking and shooting nearby and we are close to the main ski resorts for winter / snow sports as well as the Highland Wildlife Park and Highland Folk Museum.
