Kintore Holiday Cottage offers a charming self-catering holiday home for 4 guests in the beautiful village of Fort Augustus. Dating back to 1830, as a former lock keeper’s cottage it is nestled between the River Oich and the Caledonian Canal. The cottage is convenient for the shops, pubs, restaurants and the Heritage Centre in the town.
The cottage has a cosy lounge with sofas, TV, DVD and log burning stove, a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine and oak dining table; a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is a tumble dryer and bike storage available in the outhouse. There is also a pretty garden.
Fort Augustus offers spectacular views down Loch Ness and is popular with walkers and cyclists, with many beautiful walks around the area, the most popular being the Great Glen Way.
