Hereford Oast

Welcome to Hereford Oast, an unusual bed and breakfast outside the picturesque Kent village of Smarden. A former Roundel used for drying hops and dating back to Victorian times, we are nestled between the North Downs and High Weal, perfect for all outdoors enthusiasts.

Our guest bedroom can be arranged as a double or twin room and has beautiful views across the gardens and countryside. It includes its own en suite bathroom, TV, Wifi and hospitality tray. We can provide a travel cot for families if needed. Our complimentary cooked full English breakfast in the morning is freshly prepared and we serve our own homemade preserves.

Guests enjoy strolling in our pretty English country garden. We also have private secure parking and are within walking distance to the pub in the village. There are 2 golf courses nearby and the B&B is convenient for the many stately homes in the area. The ferry ports and Eurotunnel services are also within easy distance.
