Helm Farm Self-Catering cottages are nestled on Matson Ground organic farm, just a mile from Windermere. Surrounded by 450 hectares of farmland and natural woodland, it is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful Lake District holiday.
Helm Farm has 4 cottages that were once former farm buildings. Built from traditional local stone, each has many original features including stone walls and beamed ceilings. Helm Lune can sleep 5 guests. Helm Kent and Helm Eden sleep 4 and the cosy Helm Mint sleeps 2. All have free Wifi, fully equipped kitchens with dishwasher and gas central heating. There is a shared garden and private parking. The cottages can be booked separately or together for larger groups.
On the doorstep of the farm are many beautiful walks and cycleways to explore. Lake Windermere is also close by, where you can go sailing, kayaking or take a leisurely boat trip round the lake and its islands.
