Recently refurbished, the farmhouse has real character with exposed beams, open fires and original slate flooring. A newly fitted and fully equiped kitchen / dining, large living room featuring a wood burning stove, new Frame TV in the snug a Frame TV with Sonos Home Cinema sound in the lounge, sound system and Wifi; Three bedrooms, two double bedrooms and one twin bedded room and also a beamed attic bedroom with four single beds, perfect for children. Downstairs snug space with slate floor and sofa bed. Main bathroom with free standing bath and a separate shower room. This can be booked with the barn next door, which is connected by a secret door in the lounge.

The Barn can accommodate up to 4 guests and is available to be booked in conjunction with the farmhouse and in low season on its own. Complete with lounge with solid oak floors, multi-fuel fire, Smart TV, Firestick & DVD and bifold doors to the garden with open views. A high specification kitchen with adjoining dining area. Two bedrooms one with a double bed, and one with twin beds. Main bathroom with free-standing bath and a separate large walk-in shower room. High speed internet and WiFi throughout.

The Games loft above the detached barn is popular with teenagers and families, the games room includes a pool table, table tennis table, darts board and table football. There is also an enclosed garden with a new elevated Gazebo (8m x 4m) with lights and audio, and a large new Hot Tub in the rear garden overlooking the countryside, swings, barbeque and fire pit, field and pond. You will also find an outside WC, secure storage, games barn and plenty of car parking. There are pubs, fish and chip shops and other local shops in the nearby villages of Penny Bridge and Greenod. This area is a real haven and with so much to see and do and great attractions within easy reach you will be spoilt for choice here!
