Welcome to Bank House, a family-owned B & B in a grand Victorian residence in Penrith. Decorated in keeping with its original era, including antique furnishings and high ceilings, you will also find beautiful artwork from owner Sarah adorning the walls. Bank House has been accredited with a 4-Star rating and Breakfast Award from Visit England and also has a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

Our guests always enjoy homemade cakes and tea upon arrival in our cosy guest lounge. We have 4 spacious rooms, all decorated to a high quality with en suite double showers and luxurious toiletries. We have a king sized room, double room, twin and a single room all with Freeview TV, DVD, hairdryer, Wifi and hospitality tray.

Breakfast includes a full cooked Cumbrian breakfast, smoked salmon, vegetarian breakfast and smoked haddock. We use local or Fairtrade products where possible and have a gluten-free menu. Surrounded by the Lake District and North Pennines many walks and cycleways, you will need a hearty breakfast!
