The Old Farmhouse Mews Annexe

Located in the village of Braithwaite is the Old Farmhouse Mews and Annexe; self-catering holiday cottages near to Keswick and surrounded by the fells and lakes. Dating back to the mid-17th century, our cottages have been refurbished to a beautiful standard to offer holiday homes for 2 to 8 guests. Each still has the original stone walls and beamed ceilings indicative of the era, but with all the modern day comforts.

The Old Farmhouse and Annexe is a spacious home for up to 8 guests. It has 2 lounges, kitchen with Aga stove and a banquet style dining table. The Annex adjoins the Old Farmhouse by an internal door and can be booked on its own to accommodate 4 guests or with the Farmhouse for up to 12. Surrounded by the stunning countryside, we are located near to Whinlatter Pass which is a favourite for walkers and mountain bikers, and the Go Ape Adventure Centre. Keswick is just 2 miles away where you can find quaint old shops, restaurants and museums. For people who enjoy water activities, Derwentwater offers sailing, kayaking and boat tours.
