Wheelgate Bed and Breakfast is a traditional Lakeland house surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Lake District. Owners Sandy and Stuart will warmly welcome you to their beautiful home along the banks of Coniston Water. The B & B is 4-Star rated and we have been awarded a Gold and Breakfast Award by the AA.

There are 7 guest rooms, all comfortable, beautifully presented and with their own charming character. Each is equipped with en suite facilities, TV, Wifi and a well-stocked beverage tray. We have single, double, twin, 4-poster rooms and elegant suites with a kitchenette.

Relax in our cosy lounge with exposed oak beams and open fire, have a drink from our licensed bar or sit in our well-maintained, pretty gardens. Our award-winning breakfast is included in room rates. Feast on lovely choices such as a Full English cooked breakfast, kippers or smoked salmon and sample our homemade bread!
