Langdale Cottages

Langdale Cottages present 2 lovely cottages in the village of Elterwater at the mouth of the Langdale valley. They both have early 18th century traditional architecture with stone walls and wooden beamed ceilings and many original features have been retained. Well behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

No. 3 Main Street sleeps 3 and was originally built as a quarry workers cottage. There are 2 bedrooms one with twin beds, which lock together, and one with a single bed. To the rear of the cottage is a small, south-east facing, slate terrace with extensive views of Loughrigg Fell and Red Bank. Car parking is by permit which is provided.

Wistaria Cottage is located close to the village green and set back from the road, with extensive views of the fells. There is parking space for a vehicle. The cottage sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms, one with a Victorian iron and brass double bed and one with twin beds.
