Tregynon is a Farmhouse B&B in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, nestled in the Gwaun Valley, which runs inland from Fishguard towards The Preseli Mountains. The valley has an abundance of landscapes, wildlife and prehistoric sites to explore yet only 15 minutes from the coast, making it a wonderful destination for a short break or holiday.
Your accommodation is located in The Granary, 50 metres away from the main farmhouse, with separate access. Because of Covid 19, we have had to change our procedures in looking after guests and keeping them safe. To this end, we have invested in an antiviral bio-fogging machine which we use in between changes when cleaning and disinfecting your rooms. Whilst social distancing at all times, we have tried to ensure that the welcome and care upon which we pride ourselves remains the same. We also leave at least one clear day in between bookings.
Inside the accommodation in the Granary there is an entrance lobby where your private ‘en suite’ with shower, toilet, etc. is located off to the right and your bedroom to the left. It is all on the ground floor with stunning views across our land to Carn Ingli (Mountain of Angels) and Bluestone Country, the home of the stones that form Stonehenge. It is fully centrally heated and has tea/coffee making facilities, a colour TV and a dining table with two tub chairs for you to be able to eat at comfortably. We are not permitted to serve breakfasts in the main farmhouse so instead we will serve our full cooked Welsh breakfast hot direct to your entrance lobby at a convenient time. There is a bedside phone in your room internally connected to the main farmhouse so that you can buzz through to us your orders for breakfast or if you need us at any time. Also, we are currently not able to service your rooms daily during your stay, i.e. remake beds etc. but we will of course make sure you are topped up daily with tea/coffee, fresh supplies of milk, etc., when we serve breakfast.
You will be the only guests staying with us at any one time so prior booking is strongly advised. Adjacent private parking area. Free internet and mobile reception for EE or BT. We hold a licence and our wine cellar holds some excellent wines.
Subject to pandemic regulations, guests should find good restaurants, bars and pubs all within 15 to 20 minutes drive, one of which (booking essential) is within walking distance.
