Sunset Cottages

Sunset Cottages are 6 traditional stone cottages offering self-catering accommodation on a working farm near the village of Gilling East in North Yorkshire. Located on Manor Farm and surrounded by 175 acres of open fields with the Howardian Hills as a back drop, this is a tranquil setting. The cottages have a 4-star rating from Visit England.

Our cottages have been refurbished from former farm buildings with original beamed ceilings and stone walls. Valerian Cottage sleeps 2; Harvest End sleeps 3; Carters, Gilling Gap and Honeysuckle all sleep 4 guests. Phlomis Cottage is a larger cottage for 6. All our cottages feature Freeview TVs, DVDs, Wifi, and well equipped kitchens. There is a communal laundry room and a beautiful garden. Heating and water are supplied by an environmentally-friendly biomass boiler.

There are many walking and cycling routes in the local countryside, as well as golf and outdoor pursuits at Bedale. York is 17 miles away with its fascinating historical and cultural attractions.
