Murk Head Holiday Cottages have 4 luxurious self-catering cottages on a private estate in the North Yorkshire Moors. Surrounded by 230 acres of grounds with amazing views across Scarborough, there is an abundance of walking and cycling routes in the adjacent woodland. There is also free fishing along the early course of the River Derwent which flows past.

Our cottages are 4-Star rated and have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. The accommodation has been sensitively refurbished from 19th century farm buildings and have original stone walls, beamed ceilings and quirks, to ensure individual charm and character. Honeysuckle Cottage is a ground floor stone barn with open plan living area and en suite wet room, The Stables has fabulous views, Mill Cottage boasts Laura Ashely-inspired interiors and Painter Cottage has country style decor. All our cottages have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens and plenty of car parking outside. Scarborough is 8 miles away.
