Cottages In Paradise

Montgomeryshire is known as The Paradise of Wales, and our 3 charming holiday cottages are located at the very heart of the area. The nearest village is Trefeglwys, (1.5 miles) which has a local pub. Newtown and Llanidloes can be reached by car within 20 minutes. Lower Dolgenau (The Cottage) sleeps 6 and Dolgenau Hir (The Barn) sleeps 4. These are all set in secluded and tranquil countryside. The Town Cottage sleeps 2 and is in Llanidloes.

This area is stunning, comprising valleys and mountainous regions with lakes and forests. The nearby Hafren Forest, from which the Rivers Hafren (Severn), Wye and Rheidol rise, has many signposted walks and bounds the Clywedog Dam, home to sailing, fishing and nature trails. There are local golf courses, a driving range, pony and quad trekking and a sports centre with facilities for badminton, squash, swimming and mountain biking.
