The Boars Head

The Boars Head is a traditional Pub and Hotel in the Yorkshire Dales providing Real Ales, excellent food, quality accommodation and a warm welcome to the small village of Long Preston. Built in the 16th century this Dales Country Inn has been sympathetically furnished to retain many original features with open log fire, rustic beams and lots of character and charm whilst providing the modern facilities that you would expect.

Each of our contemporary rooms has been individually styled and designed with comfort in mind offering en-suite baths/showers and flat screen televisions, hospitality tray with tea, coffee and biscuits. There is a large bar area and a separate restaurant here at the Boars Head with an open fire in the winter months with a good selection of cask ales and a wide choice of wines by the glass. The menu, served throughout the pub, provides a wide choice From traditional Bar Meals to sophisticated Specials.

We are ideally located only 4 miles from Settle and 12 miles from Skipton, we are also perfectly positioned between the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Forest of Bowland and the Southern Lakes. There are plenty of countryside activities to do and interesting places to visit in all weathers.
