The Golden Acorn

The Golden Acorn Hotel is a great place to stay in Glenrothes. Managed by Wetherspoons, it has benefitted from a recent refurbishment to offer guests everything they need for an enjoyable stay. We have 26 bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, TV, free Wifi, hairdryer and refreshment tray with bottled water. We have twin rooms, double bedrooms and adjoining rooms for families. You can also relax in our pub or enjoy one of our dishes from our extensive menu. There is plenty of parking.

Located in central Fife, Glenrothes has excellent recreational facilities, including parkland, various sports venues and golf courses. There are lots of opportunities for walks and cycling along the coastal path or in the Lomond Hills Regional Park. St Andrews is 20 miles away and the area boasts many beautiful beaches, castles and stately homes.
