The Hemmel Wooler

Welcome to The Hemmel, a friendly bed and breakfast a mile outside picturesque Wooler. The Gateway to the Cheviots, we are ideal for walkers and cyclists looking for a haven after a busy day exploring this part of scenic Northumberland. Close to the National Park and only a short ride to the heritage coast, there are loads of opportunities to try outdoor activities including golf, fishing, horse riding or island hopping around the Farnes.

We have 3 rooms, all decorated in a contemporary style offering en suite facilities, free Wifi, TV, CD player, hairdryer and beverage tray. We also have a comfortable guest lounge where you can relax on our sofas and enjoy a roaring fire from our wood burner. A delicious full Northumberland breakfast is included in our rates and served in our elegant dining room looking out to the surrounding fields. The village centre offers a selection of shops, restaurants and bars.
