Tankerville Arms Hotel

The Tankerville Arms Hotel is a historic building offering delightful rooms and restaurant in the Northumberland village of Wooler. Built in the 1700s by the Earl of Tankerville, it has an interesting history as a hunting lodge, Excise office and Coaching Inn. Today, you can enjoy the friendly atmosphere and welcoming hospitality as you eat, drink and stay.

All our rooms are finished in a contemporary style with en suite facilities, Freeview TV, free Wifi and beverage tray. We have single, double, twin, family and even some dog friendly rooms. We also have car parking and a drying room. Our Garden House is a self-contained house across the garden with a double room, a triple room, separate lounge with Freeview TV and a private bath and walk in shower. All our rooms have a delicious full Northumberland breakfast included. Our Cheviot Restaurant offers fabulous home cooked meals and Sunday lunches with options for children and private dinners. We have a Civil Marriage License so are the perfect venue for your wedding or special event.
