The Sun Hotel in Warkworth is a stunning former 17th century coaching inn offering excellent accommodation, fine restaurant and a bar, in a superb location, opposite medieval Warkworth Castle. The village and castle occupy a loop of the River Coquet, less than a mile from the Northumberland coast.

Guest rooms have an eclectic mix of vintage furnishings with contemporary decor. Each has en suite facilities, TV, DVD and hospitality tray. We have double, twin, family and a gorgeous Bridal Suite with French-style king sized bed and a free standing roll top bath in the room. Breakfast is included in your room rate. Our Castle Brew House offers classic homemade meals and local ales, with regular entertainment throughout the week. Our No. 6 Steak House is open from Tuesday to Saturdays offering a menu using the finest meats from Northumberland farms.
